Our story is one of fulfillment of a very long standing ambition!!
As a child, I loved doing hair and wanted to become a hairdresser. However, due to circumstances this did not happen and I traveled down a different path. But I still managed to do the hair of my friends and family even without training, I enjoyed it so much.
My greatest talent, however was portrait painting. I won several first prizes and awards with my pictures.
Neither of these passions provided me with a living but I enjoyed them and other people enjoyed them too. That was payment enough.
My son, Mike, recently decided to give himself an upgrade and the main part of this was to have his hair restored. He visited a professional company with the intention of having a hair transplant procedure. The company introduced him to the great alternative to this namely Scalp Micropigmentation, a procedure which was not as intrusive as the surgery for transplantation, but looked just as good when done properly.
When I saw what was involved, I just knew it was something I wanted to do. It combined the hairdressing theme with the artistic portrait theme. Wonderful! Fantastic! I'm going to do it !
I trained at a clinic in Chester, got all my accreditation's and certificates, built a licensed studio and off I went. Mike organised everything and was my first model. You can see his before and after pictures and judge for yourself.
